Cincy Chic Hosts Eco-Fab Fashion Show March 15

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 28, 2013 - While Pantone says green is the color of the year in 2013, Cincy Chic says “going green” is always in style. In fact Cincy Chic, the only online publication for women in Greater Cincinnati, is hosting it’s fourth annual “Eco-Fab Fashion Show” March 15 to showcase several eco-friendly products, services and designs available in the Tri-State.

This year’s “Eco-Fab Fashion Show” will be held on Friday, March 15 from 6-9 pm at the PNC Bank located on East 4th Street. Guests will enjoy complimentary light bites, drinks, shopping, and swag bags for the first 200 attendees, along with an “eco-fabulous” fashion show. The fashion show will feature sustainable styles by Loveland-based lur apparel, and all-organic hair/makeup designs by Alba Beauty Studios and Cincy Style Bar.

“This event is an amazing way for local ladies to learn that it is possible to be both fashionable and friendly to the environment,” says Amy Scalia, publisher of Cincy Chic. “As an online-only publication, never in print, we’ve always been conscious of the environment. This event allows us to partner with and promote other businesses in the community who also have a commitment to and compassion for people and the planet.”

The fashion show will begin at 7:30pm. There will also be more than 10 pop-up boutiques showcasing eco-friendly products and services. In addition, there will be a photo booth, fundraising activity for the Civic Garden Center, and a workshop area where attendees can learn how to turn an old t-shirt into a no-sew circle scarf.
