David Goldberg spoke about the inspiration behind his recent business venture and explained the initial process of starting FreshNeck.com. The website provides different tiers of designer neck ties, bow ties, cufflinks, pocket squares, and more. Members of FreshNeck can exchange neckwear and keep up to date with the newest fashions without spending a fortune.
David discussed the logic behind his business, “It costs a fortune to buy a decent tie collection, and you wind up wearing the same boring few over and over. Traditional retail is a stale and inefficient model, but technology has made it possible to ‘collaboratively consume’ on a wide scale.”
David Goldberg had a previous background in finance before he came up with the idea for FreshNeck. His business has significantly grown in the past year to include brands like Hermes, Salvatore Ferragamo and Dolce & Gabbana.
