AAMA Rolls Out New Social Media Effort

Des Plaines, IL, February 28, 2013 – The American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA) used its twice-monthly member newsletter, ExOn Express, to announce the expansion of its social media efforts to include Facebook and Twitter.

“We have over 5,000 members in our informal LinkedIn® groups, which have existed for several years.  The discussions on LinkedIn® relate to healthcare trends, regulations and innovative administration concepts.  Facebook and Twitter will allow for the expansion of member-to-member contact, as well as helping AAMA news break through the clutter,” according to AAMA Board Member, Appointed Director of Communications Robert C. Bonds, MA, BS, FAAMA, Director of Business Development with URORAD Healthcare in McAllen, TX.  “We’re expecting that this social media effort will significantly increase the awareness of AAMA and its activities.  For example, through our Facebook and Twitter updates, followers can learn about such events as our 3-in-1 conference, on April 10-12 in Las Vegas.”

For ongoing information about AAMA activities, our members, our corporate sponsors and exhibitors, follow us on Twitter (https://mobile.twitter.com/AmerAcadMedAdmn), like us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/pages/American-Academy-of-Medica...), or join one or all of special interest LinkedIn® (http://www.linkedin.com/groups/American-Academy-Medical-A...) pages.
