The panel of judges look, sniff and taste each water in the contest under guidelines similar to those in a wine tasting. The waters were rated for each attribute including appearance (it should be clear - or slightly opaque for glacial waters), aroma (there should be none), taste (it should taste clean), mouth feel (it should feel light), aftertaste (it should leave you thirsty for more). Waters were tasted in four separate flights over two days with only the top 10 waters advancing to the final tasting conducted on Saturday, February 23, 2013, for the chance to be recognized as the world’s best.
Although Cerebellum® H2O™ did not place for gold, silver or bronze in this year’s event, it was selected as a 2013 top finalist to compete with the elite waters of the world.
