Daniel S. Cohan Joins Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC as Counsel

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 28, 2013 - Sahn Ward Coschignano & Baker, PLLC (http://swcblaw.com/index.html) has announced that Daniel S. Cohan has joined the firm as Counsel.

Mr. Cohan concentrates his practice in the areas of estate and tax planning (http://www.swcblaw.com/N1AOCnewEstate.html), probate law and estate administration, with a focus on private family foundations and complex trust arrangements. Prior to joining the firm, he was Estate Planning and Estates Counsel to Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP in East Meadow.

A frequent lecturer on estate planning issues, Mr. Cohan is a member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City, Inc. and theTax (http://www.swcblaw.com/N1AOCnewTaxCertiorari.html) and Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, Inc. He is also a member of the committee or the Surrogate’s Court of the New York County Lawyers Association and a member of the Trust and Estate Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association.

Mr. Cohan is a graduate of the University of Michigan and holds a Doctor of Law degree from Fordham University Law School. In addition, he has served as Adjunct Professor of Estates, Trusts and Wills in Adelphi University’s program for paralegals. He is a resident of Great Neck and is Board President at the Barclay, a co-op unit in Great Neck.
