Global sales of Nissan vehicles were up 7 percent year-over-year in January, with 406,081 units sold. That number marked an all-time January record for the company! Sales in the U.S. also increased, 2 percent year-over-year, with 80,919 units sold.
The automaker also increased production in January, with global production up 3.6 percent year-over-year to 403,166 units. That, too, marked an all-time record for production in the month of January.
