2013 Fashion Awards MD to Host Nominee Celebration Fashion Industry Networking Event

Feb. 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The 2013 Fashion Awards MD (FAMD) is proud to present a Nominee Celebration, Fashion Industry Networking Event and "Emerging" Awards presentation. On Wednesday May 8th Fashion Awards MD in conjunction with The Baltimore Fashion Alliance and Bonneau Caprece will host its very first Nominee Celebration and Industry Networking Event entitled “May Day”. This event will also include an awards presentation for the recipients of the emerging categories and the rising star category.  "I am so excited that this year we will not only be celebrating our nominees before the event, but at the same time we will be able to give our emerging nominees a chance to have their own event and really shine.  This event is about bringing together all of our nominees, and celebrating their accomplishments no matter who wins an award,” said FAMD Founder and Producer Lana Rae.

The event will take place at the ultra-fabulous Tremont Plaza Hotel located at 225 N Charles Street in Downtown Baltimore. Join us for an evening of networking, fashion vendor showcases, cash bar, a fashion show featuring the 2013 nominees and a chance to cast your vote live at the FAMD Voting Station. The networking portion of the event starts at 6:30PM on the 2nd Floor, with a variety of fashion showcases, light food, cash bar and a host of fashion vendors. At 8PM attendees will transition to the 3rd Floor for a live fashion show and the “emerging” category awards presentation. In addition, the Baltimore Fashion Alliance’s Sharp Dressed Men Program encourages guests to bring new or gently worn business attire for men and/or women for donation.
