The brands, recognized as the most innovative products on shelves across the GCC, were felicitated last evening at a glittering awards ceremony held at The Atlantis, The Palm. The awards were handed over by “The Product of the Year” team.
The participating products were preselected by an independent jury before the consumer’s research phase. The esteemed jury includes representatives from: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, The Federation of GCC Chambers of Commerce, Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting and more. The jury closely studied the various entries, and ensured the competition’

The Product of the Year award last year focused on UAE, which saw 16 winners being honoured, based on the opinions and votes of 800 households across the UAE. Following popular demand from regional clients, this international label was expanded to a GCC-wide basis, taking into account the votes of a large and representative sample of consumers across all six GCC countries.
The Product of the Year Gulf tied up with market research partner TNS, who conducted a GCC-wide consumer survey based on face to face interviews, and the winners of each category were decided. “The Product of the Year Gulf is a very strong endorsement for any product, and we thank TNS for their elaborate survey across the GCC states. In today’s fast-paced environment, the shoppers do not have much time to spend in the supermarket.
