Lead singer of The Januariez to Perform at ASUW’s Everybody Every Body Fashion Show & Art Gallery

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 27, 2013 - J-kNee, lead vocalist of Seattle-based rock band The Januariez’ will perform at ASUW’s Everybody Every Body Fashion Show and Art Gallery this Thursday, February 28 on the University of Washington Campus.  ASUW’s Student Health Consortium, Arts and Entertainment, Women’s Action Committee, SARVA, and many more are collaborating to hold this 6th annual event at the HUB Ballroom.  The event has attracted over 600 students in the past and showcases fashion, artwork, poetry, and music in the spirit of celebrating and promoting healthy body image awareness.

J-kNee is a socially charged artist, dedicated feminist and has experienced first-hand how music can change a life.  She will perform music from The Januariez release Authentic as well as other originals. She will perform a piece called “The Mirror” with three parts to it. The idea behind each piece is that “we are what we project.” Two parts of this piece have never been performed.

A dedicated resource for health oriented student groups; SHC encourages collaboration between groups as well as any event open to all students.
