Kidsphysio2u offers budget alternative to expensive private Childrens Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy

Feb. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Colchester based Kidsphysio2u operate Essex’s only children’s Sports Injury Physiotherapy Clinic from the Physiotherapy Suite at Shrub End Sports & Community Centre.  Kidsphysio2u have now unveiled plans to offer budget group Physiotherapy treatment sessions in Marks Tey with prices from £10 per session. This has come as good news to parents who previously may have found private children’s physiotherapy expensive and as a result have previously been unable to afford access to physiotherapy outside of the NHS setting.

This low cost opportunity gives young people aged 8 to 18 years old access to gym based physiotherapy treatment as part of a 4-5pm after school rehab session.  Sessions will be running every Thursday from within Lifestyle Health & Fitness Club based at the Marks Tey Hotel.  The service is aimed at young people with conditions such as sports injuries, growing pains, hypermobility and general joint pain problems.  Chris Smith, Lead Physiotherapist commented on how the service would work, “Children come to us with their Physiotherapy assessment and we provide them with supervised appropriate activities in order to achieve their rehabilitation goals.   We accept children with an assessment by any Physiotherapist so you don’t have to see us at kidsphysio2u first. You can come to us from the NHS or another Physiotherapy business, providing we have a copy of your initial assessment it’s not a problem”.    Although they already have plans to expand the service, “We are very keen to make this Musculoskeletal service a success and once up and running we will be looking to deliver further low cost sessions to a range of other conditions such as Cerebral Palsy and coordination based disorders, so most definitely watch this space”.
