The osteo-WEDGE[sub]TM[/sub] open wedge bone locking plate system is the first system specifically designed to overcome all challenges of angular deformities and/or hypermobility of the 1st MCJ. The osteo-WEDGE[sub]TM[/sub] system is most commonly used in the treatment of moderate to severe hallux valgus (HAV) deformities. Advantages include:

• Six points of locking screw fixation for maximum stability.
• Thin (1mm) and low profile.
• Easy and accurate placement.

The osteo-WEDGE[sub]TM[/sub] system is composed entirely of medical grade titanium. Five wedge sizes are available, ranging from 2mm – 10mm. The system also includes a flat plate with no wedge.
