These speculations have been circling since Nissan’s official announcement of the Datsun’s return in March of 2012. Nissan said the Datsun brand revival would be primiarily focused on Indonesia, South Africa, India and Russia.
Recently one publication reported that the Datsun will be launched in late 2014 in South Africa. However, Nissan Motor Company has yet to confirm a date or location.
