Canadian Black Book, the unbiased vehicle value resource for the automotive industry, recently announced its ‘Best Retained Value Awards’ for 2013. Grove Dodge in Spruce Grove, AB (http://www.grovedodgechrysler.com/
is proud to represent the only domestic manufacturer to receive any recognition. The only North American automaker to receive any awards was Chrysler Canada, who won in the Compact SUV category with the Jeep Wrangler and the Sports Car category with the Dodge Challenger. This was the third consecutive year that the Jeep Wrangler won and the second consecutive year that the Dodge Challenger won.
Canadian Black Book, which has been operating for over five decades, is often considered the authority for unbiased, reliable vehicle value data. Vehicles recognized by their retained value award are considered to provide peace of mind to owners, who know that cars that hold their value over time actually cost less to own over time.
The awards for ‘Best Retained Value’ are distributed in 19 separate vehicle categories. The vehicles that retain the largest percentage of their original MSRP over the most recent four years win the award in each category. The award program, which is in its eighth year, directs vehicle shoppers who are seeking cars that hold their value well.
The Jeep Wrangler (http://www.grovedodgechrysler.com/2013-jeep-wrangler.htm
) is a one-of-a-kind compact SUV known for its off-roading capabilities. The sales of this vehicle in Canada were up 21 percent from 2011 to 2012, with more consumers recognizing the practicality of a vehicle that holds its value over time. The 2013 version is more ergonomically designed to provide a more comfortable interior, and it is still a leader for off-road ability and fuel efficiency. This vehicle has earned top honors in the Compact SUV category for three years in a row.
The Dodge Challenger (http://www.grovedodgechrysler.com/2013-dodge-challenger.htm
) is a powerful muscle car with distinctive design and a performance suspension. For a sports car, it is known to have a spacious cabin with sophisticated interior quality. It is a 2012 Consumers Digest
“Best Buy”, which also speaks volumes for its value. This vehicle has earned top honors in the Sports Car category for two years in a row.
