In the process, “Stubborn As A Mule” takes a retrospective look at African-American/American history dating back to the U. S. Civil War. This historical journey is facilitated by such renowned intellectual luminaries as Dr. Cornell West (Princeton University) and Dr. Na'im Akbar (Florida State University).
