Deemable Tech Announces Kickstarter Project to Develop Mobile App

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 26, 2013 - Jacksonville, FL – Deemable Tech, a call-in show about technology, has launched a Kickstarter crowdfunding project to raise money to create a mobile app for the podcast. If the project is successfully funded, the app will be developed for iPhones and Android phones.

Each week on Deemable Tech, Ray Hollister and Tom Braun answer questions from listeners about computers, mobile phones, tablets, and the Internet. Listeners can call in their questions at 1-888-972-9868 or by email at questions@deemable.com. Deemable Tech’s show is formatted for public radio, and it is currently available on iTunes, Stitcher and on the web at http://deemable.com.

One of the challenges of being a tech help show that is only available on the internet is that the people who need help with technology the most often have a hard time finding and listening to the show. The Deemable Tech App will help overcome that difficulty. Users will be able to download the app from the Apple App Store and Google Play so that the show will be easier to access. Through the app, users will be able to listen to previous episodes, read show notes and other articles, get notifications about new episodes, and click to send a question in to the show by email or over the phone.

Kickstarter projects work on an “all-or-nothing” model so if the Deemable Tech App project doesn’t reach it’s goal by March 25th, Deemable Tech will not be able to develop the app. Fans can follow Deemable on Twitter (@Deemable) and Facebook (facebook.com/Deemable) to follow the progress of the campaign and spread the word to their social media networks. Contributors can donate as little as $1, and can receive fun and interesting rewards for larger donations.
