He joined the profession of teaching at J.S.S. College of Pharmacy, Mysore in 1987 soon after his post graduation and served there for more than a year. Later joined at H.K.E.S college of Pharmacy, Gulbarga in 1989 and working till date as professor and HOD of Pharmacology and Professor in charge for Pharma D. Program. He has 25 years of experience in teaching at B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D along with offering guidance to Ph.D. students.
As a scientist he has presented 60 scientific publication in national and international scientific journals, presented more than 61 scientific papers at national conferences, published 36 articles of popular interest in pharmacy journals, and served in various capacities in the university as member editorial board of university journal RJPS, Bangalore, Journal of Pharmacy and chemistry, Ananthapur, member of Board of studies, chairman of board of studies, as a chief editor of scientific journal “Pharmakine”
His other hobbies include English contemporary poetry and contemporary paintings in water colors. The other notable work by the author includes his poetry book called “Dew-Drops”
