Young Americans Center for Financial Education Welcomes Three New Members to Board of Directors

Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Young Americans Center for Financial Education, a Denver-based non-profit that develops the financial literacy of youth and young adults, announced today it has three new additions to the Board of Directors.

Dave Burlage is the Chief Financial Officer for CoBank, a long-time Young Americans supporter.  Mr. Burlage oversees the funding, financial planning, accounting and tax reporting functions at CoBank.  He has held previous roles at Interlink Group, Inc. and Arthur Anderson & Co.  Mr. Burlage currently holds a position on the board of the University of Colorado Denver Business School.

Bill Fowler serves as the Senior Vice President of the Grants Program at the Daniels Fund.  He previously held the post of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Office at RBC Daniels, so his appreciation for the legacy of Young Americans Bank founder Bill Daniels is strong.  Mr. Fowler has a long history of service to the Denver community, including roles on the Jefferson County Public Schools Foundation and the Cableland Home Foundation.

Susan Oh joins the board representing Janus Capital Group, which has held a board seat in the past through various individuals.  Ms. Oh is the Senior Vice President, Head of U.S. Institutional at Janus, where she oversees the U.S. institutional sales and marketing teams.  She was at JP Morgan for more than 20 years in New York and Chicago before relocating to Denver a year ago.  Ms. Oh brings a deep communications and marketing background to the board.
