For Emma Patterson, discovering her natural telepathic ability has been the catalyst for change throughout her young life, yet those changes haven’t always been for the better.
In Ms. Brutt’s highly acclaimed novel, Voyance, Emma finds sanctuary in Voyance—a unique school for the most psychically talented children; a school where she feels at home—a place of understanding where she can finally uncover her life’s purpose.
But, the power of the psychic gift is both rare and infinitely critical to the sinister plans of those from The Institute and Emma and her family have become high on their target list.
Now, Emma, along with her new baby and the child’s father, Alex, must find refuge from those who would use them for their own destructive purposes.
But, when Emma discovers that Voyance has been closed, her family’s slim hopes of any rescue quickly fade.
Having narrowly escaped the grips of The Institute once, they now find themselves alone and on the run in dangerous and unfamiliar territory. What risks will they be willing to take to protect their family? Emma and Alex will soon find out.
“From cover-to-cover, Ms. Brutt’s bold and sympathetic characters deliver intelligent, witty, and thought-provoking dialog,” said Kathie McGuire, director of Brighton Publishing LLC. “In Redeemed: When Voyance Vanishes, Rhonda Brutt presents a genuine look at the authenticity of friendship and the power and strength of loyalty—a strong and sharply written tale.”
Rhonda Brutt was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Palm Beach County Florida. She attended both Florida State University and Normandale Community College where she earned a degree in Liberal Arts. When she’s not reading or writing she enjoys swimming, coffee shops, traveling, rock concerts, and making up excuses to avoid cooking. She currently lives in the Minneapolis metropolitan area with her husband and Yorkshire terrier. Redeemed: When Voyance Vanishes is her second young adult novel and offers up a thrilling conclusion to the book Voyance.
