New healthcare solution: Flexvalley's Alarm Management Platform

Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Providing a fast response to nurse call alarms sent by hospital patients is a crucial matter for the healthcare industry.

The F.A.R.O. Foundation, for its "Ida Bocca" Hospice on the San Vito Hospital, asked Honéro to deploy an integrated communication solution which consists of a Kirk Wireless Server 8000 and 14 Kirk Handsets, all coming with the new Flexvalley's Alarm Management Platform linked with the pre-existent nurse call system.

Thanks to this setup, healthcare workers are now immediately aware of patients in need of help and assistance because they are notified in real time directly on their handset. This doesn’t only offer a "simple" nurse call, and/or a room call, but also interaction with the whole environment and co-ordination of the whole complex. This is done by tracing every event and/or notification as required by current legislation.
