Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Food and wine pairing website, EasyFoodandWine.com, announces the most popular recipes from the site for 2012. Over the full year, the three most popular recipes were Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Beef Wellington and Stuffed Chicken Breast.

“We’re always excited to understand which recipes are resonating the best with our visitors,” said Mike, co-founder of EasyFoodandWine.com. “These three recipes are understandably popular because they characterize what our site is all about: they’re delicious, easy for anyone to make, and taste great with wines.”

The Easy Food & Wine recipe collection features more than forty recipes designed by Amy and Mike Kass to pair well with wines. The recipes are organized by main ingredient (beef, chicken, pork, turkey, seafood and vegetarian), and can also be viewed by course (appetizer, salad, soup, or main course) or by wine pairing (sparkling, white, rose or red – plus by specific varietals). The full recipe collection can be found at: http://www.easyfoodandwine.com/Easy-Gourmet-Recipes.html

“These recipes give some great insight into the different types of recipes our customers want,” added Amy, Mike’s wife and co-founder of EasyFoodandWine.com. “The stuffed chicken breast is a simple, elegant option for weeknight dining; the beef wellington is an easy ‘spin’ on a classic; and the lobster mac & cheese is part of the new trend of gourmet comfort food.”

Amy and Mike Kass, a husband and wife, founded EasyFoodandWine.com in 2008 to provide simple, easy-to-make recipes paired with wines that any home cook or enthusiast could prepare and enjoy. Mike is the family’s ‘chef’ and designs each of the site’s recipes, and Amy is the ‘wine expert’ and chooses the wine pairings for each recipe. Each recipe is paired with two wines – a more affordable ‘Steal’ wine (under $15) and a pricier ‘Splurge’ selection.

New recipes and articles are added several times a month. Readers who would like to receive new postings as they can come out can sign up for the EasyFoodandWine.com newsletter at the site, or can follow the site on Twitter at @easyfoodandwine or on Facebook.
