Carnival gets an overwhelming response; people from across the city participate.
Begusarai, 23rd February, 2013: Takshila School, Begusarai, hosted its Grand Carnival today. The carnival was open to all.
The Grand Carnival was one of its first kind in the city of Begusarai and attracted people in huge numbers. The camp had a host of activities lined up for both parents and the school children and the turnout was expectedly large.
Parents were seen working in teams with their kids over activities like word formation, tongue twister and ball in the basket. Then there were exclusive activities for children like soliloquy, trickle down and mimicry. Another activity - pot painting meant only for the parents - saw the children cheering their parents. Overall, the sense of engagement and community bonding came through the entire event.
The event was a great success and drew not only people with wards in the school but people from across the city. The participation of parents in the Carnival drew huge crowds as friends and relatives also trooped in. The atmosphere was wonderful and fun and everybody got into the spirit of the carnival.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Bilash Poddar, Principal, Takshila School, Begusarai, said, “This carnival is an attempt on part of the school to connect better with the community. It’s heart-warming to see the families bonding over various fun activities.”
