Abdias Ernesto Garcia:
Abdias Ernesto Garcia is a Puerto Rican singer/ songwriter who started his musical career at the early age of 14, having won an international contest through Univision and the television show Sábado Gigante. The artist studied guitar and percussion at La Escuela Libre de Música in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico and produced his first album titled, “El Experiemento de la Vida” in 2009. The project-- a combination of original music and covers of songs by artists like María Elena Walsh y Amalia Rodrigues-- was released the same year on the independent record label Tacatantan Records. His second release, titled “Monte Frio,” marked a new phase for Abdias in which he combined Caribbean rhythms and elements of South American music to produce a an EP of 5 self-written tracks. Abdias is currently touring the United States promoting his newest album, “Mas Colores y Menos Horrores.” The musician and family man travels with his wife and two boys, who also participate in his performances.
