Kapali Long released his first project “Mountains That Beckon” and received great reviews by fans from every corner of the globe.
Kapali’s second project, “The Mahalo” EP is set for release on February 26. 2013. The lead single “Thank You” is appropriately titled. Thank you in Hawaiian is Mahalo could have multiple meanings depending on your own personal situation. To Kapali it is a thank you to an ex-lover as he realized it was not about her at all. It is a thank you to her and all the memories too. This single is filled with emotional waves of grace and drama. It has a great catchy hook, caricatured vocals that play with every word all set to a smooth pop/folk style with a sprinkle of Hawaiian flavor. It is very representative of the styles of this adventurous artist.
Kapali Long’s music has evolved with time identifying his musical strengths and capitalizing on them. As the tides change, so does his music as it is all influenced by life experiences.
