Covey, author of the New York Times and #1 Wall Street Journal bestselling book, The Speed of Trust. Stephen will be advocating an increase in trust in American organizations in both the profit and not-for-profit sectors.
Recent media coverage has documented the tremendous drop in trust in U.S. businesses and government, punctuated last month by new data in the 2013 Edelman Trust Barometer. It shows that an alarming 85% of the general public in the U.S. don’t trust business leaders to tell the truth when confronted with a difficult issue. Trust in government leaders is only slightly better at 82%.
