Feb. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- This book was conceived during a year-long session of Bible study as the topic turned to Hearing from God. Those who participated found the experience so insightful that they wanted to preserve the teachings that sprung forth. Thus was born this joyful book.

Over the course of that year in the sweltering Nigeria heat, this small group of intellectuals met weekly for their Bible study session, only to discover an entirely new way of interpreting Christian doctrine and relating to God. Taking turns, each participant led the session, articulating his own wisdom with well-known passages that took on a new and divine meaning through group study.

As the year progressed, the group’s attention became transfixed on a new aspect of faith: Hearing from God. At every meeting, the participants remained in rapt focus, absorbing the wisdom and re-reading the Bible they thought they knew so very well. This amazing book preserves their findings for generations to come.

About the Author: Dr. Edward Omo Igbesoko was born in Warri, Nigeria. Growing up in this oil rich city led him to a successful career in the petroleum industry. After retiring from the senior finance staff at Shell Petroleum Development of Nigeria, Ltd., Dr. Igbesoko relocated to Sapele, Nigeria, where he currently lives. He holds a bachelor’s, master’s and a doctorate in theology, contributes scholarly papers to religious lectures and seminars, and devotes much of his time to the study of the words of God. This is the author’s first book. He is currently working on a new project, Understanding for Higher Minds, compiling his extensive seminar and lecture writings.
