General Information
XLR8 STEM Academy courses are offered to students that will be classified as juniors for the 2013-14 school year.
The following must be included in the application packet: Completed Application form, Transcript w/first semester grades for 2012/13 school year - available through school guidance counselor, Copy of the 2012/13 Attendance - available through school guidance counselor, Statement of student Interest-see page 2, Teacher Recommendation forms (science, math, other),and a Completed Counselor form
Incomplete applications will be returned to student's counselor to review & resubmit.
Applications should be forwarded to the Academy as soon as they are completed.
A waiting list is maintained for oversubscribed courses.
Admission Time Schedule
April 19th - All applications due to the Academy
April 24th- Verification lists to include received applications.
May 3rd - List of Accepted, Wait Listed & Denied students to base schools
June 12th - Final Acceptance List with class period
