"WorldQuest XIII - The World Affairs Forum Fundraiser"

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 25, 2013 - “We’re Still Here!” – despite the predictions of the Mayans -  is the theme of this year’s World Affairs Forum annual fundraising event on March 28.  Cocktails and dinner start the evening, and then the fun begins with tables competing for medals by correctly answering questions on current events and international affairs.  David Smith, host of Cablevision’s “Meet The Leaders”, will serve as Game Master.  

A highlight of the evening will be the RAFFLE drawing for a $1,000 Amazon.com Gift Certificate.  There will also be live auctions and other raffle prizes.

The cost of the evening is $80, which includes dinner and game competition.  A cash bar will be available during the evening and the festivities begin at 6 PM.  Everyone is invited to join in and we’ll organize the teams of 10, or you can put together your own team of friends and “go for the gold”.  

Raffle tickets for the Amazon.com Gift Certificate can be purchased for $25 from the World Affairs Forum (203-356-0340).  You need not be present to win.

Teams from local area colleges and universities will also join the fun!

WorldQuest proceeds support the World Affairs Forum, a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to expanding understanding of global affairs and America’s role in the world.  The Forum is an affiliate of the World Affairs Councils of America.
