Amazing Pet Expos Seeks Exhibitors, Speakers, Sponsors and More at the Anchorage Pet Expo

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 25, 2013 - Anchorage, AK – The annual Anchorage Pet Expo is back! From 10am to 6pm on Saturday, June 15th, attendees can once again enjoy spending a fun-filled and educational day with their best pet friend. This free, indoor and air-conditioned event attracts thousands of pet lovers along with their furry, feathered and reptilian pals who are looking to enjoy a day of live entertainment, education, super fun contests and all kinds of exciting demonstrations.

In 2012, Amazing Pet Expos produced the first-ever Anchorage Pet Expo, hosting over 7,500 attendees and their pets. The Anchorage Pet Expo gives pet-related businesses and organizations the opportunity to connect face-to-face with consumers, build exposure within the local community and to expand their client base. This year, attendance is expected to be between 8 and 10,000 for the one-day show.  

Ethan Barnett, Director of Public Relations for the expo explains, “The fact is, many pet owners simply aren’t aware of the available pet-related resources in their community and that’s why an event like this is so important.”

Shorty Rossi, star of ‘Pit Boss’ on Animal Planet, will make an appearance with his popular canine sidekicks, Hercules and Mario. As Rossi’s star has continued to rise, it’s only managed to allow him to make a bigger difference for his special passion: championing the cause of pit bulls. Not only will he be available for pictures and autographs all day, he’ll share how you can become an advocate for animals and help make a difference as well.

In addition to all-day-long incredible entertainment and demos, attendees will enjoy visiting with 100+ exhibitors while checking out the latest and greatest products and services for their pets. From pet food and gourmet bakery pet treats to specialty vets and pet behaviorists and trainers, there’ll be something for everyone. The popular mega-adoption area is also back, offering more than 150 pets available for adoption. Other activities include an agility course, pet talent and costume contests, police dog demos and so much more.
