Beauty Call Franchisee Produces Stunning Looks for Senior Staff at the Wedding Ideas Magazine Awards

Feb. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- The Wedding Ideas Magazine is Britain’s best-selling bridal mag. Now in its fourth year, the publication offers brides-to-be everything from fashion inspiration and style advice to venue ideas and free wedding planning tools.    

The Magazine hosts a high-profile Awards ceremony every year to recognise the outstanding talents of some of the country’s biggest and best wedding suppliers. Unlike other industry Awards nights, this event offers designers, venue owners, photographers and all kinds of wedding professionals the opportunity to celebrate success on a national scale, which means picking up a gong on the night is a truly special achievement.  

This year’s ceremony was hosted at The Tower Hotel in Central London on January 11th and was attended by over 350 people, so it was extra-important that the Wedding Ideas team were looking their best. Karen Starr, who works on behalf of Beauty Call in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, was delighted to be asked to help some of the magazine’s senior staff get ready for their big moment on the eve of the Awards ceremony. Karen created gorgeously on-trend makeup looks for Rachel Southwood, the Managing Director of Wedding Ideas Magazine, and Martha Cooke and Jola Gladys from the publication’s Ads team.

“I went for all-out glam designs for the Wedding Ideas staff to make them feel like true VIPs on the night,” explains Karen. “I wanted to create a sultry and sophisticated look for each of the team that was striking enough to suit the occasion, although I also felt it was important to let the girls’ natural beauty shine through as they were all stunning ladies!

“I thoroughly enjoyed working with the team. Everyone looked great and I’m sure a great night was had by all,” she adds.
