shamrocks, folks, as the Port Authorities take on Rockland’s Rock Coast Rollers in this
St. Patrick’s Daythemed
roller derby bout! This is a highly anticipated matchup for
these two Maine teams. The first time these leagues met, the Rock Coast Rollers fell to
Maine Roller Derby’s “B” Team, the Calamity Janes. A year later, the Rock Coast
Rollers defeated the Janes in tournament play. Rock Coast then took on MRD’s “C”
Team, the R.I.P.Tides, and came away with the victory. This time, however, the Rock
Coast Rollers have to face Maine Roller Derby’s hardhitting,
elite “All Stars,” the Port
Authorities. Which team will win? We can’t wait to find out! Be sure to get your tickets
early, as the Lucky Lass Throwdown is expected to sell out quickly.
