Follow on Google News | K38 International Announces the Formation of K38 CyprusK38 International announces a new affiliation with K38 Cyprus for 2013 to provide Rescue Water Craft education and training for recreational and occupational waterway users, such as lifeguards, military and recreational riders on personal watercraft.
By: K38 Water Safety K38 Water Safety is proud to announce K38 Cyprus has officially been created and secured their 2013 Affiliate agreement for business operations. K38 Cyprus is operated by Mr. Michalis Kyprianou. Mr. Kyprianou will oversee the day to day operations, course program development, instructor cadre and records keeping for our international student base. We are currently under construction for the development of the website and will be posting our 2013 Training and Event Calendar upon completion. K38 Cyprus comes under the guidance of Ms. Shawn Alladio, Founder of K38 Water Safety and the K38 Way of Training based in the USA. “K38 Cyprus will be supporting the maritime heritage of Cypriots and will further provide a vital link to the international water safety community”, states Shawn. K38 Cyprus will create their nations first Rescue Water Craft (RWC) certification program based off of the International Boating and Water Safety Summit (IBWSS) National Safe Boating Council instructor boater program and K38 Standards of Operation. K38 Cyprus will serve the lifesaving community and recreational needs for Personal Watercraft (PWC) or for occupational use Rescue Water Craft (RWC). K38 Cyprus students who have successfully completed a K38 training program will be issued a certificate with a student ID reference number. This student ID reference number is legally valid for a period of 3 years upon the date of issue. K38 endorses the National Association of Boating Law Administrator (NASLBLA) and the National Safe Boating Council (NSBC) at the International Boating and Water Safety Summit for their efforts in a united global standardization of boater education. The 3 year tenure NASBLA certification program has been in effect since 2008.
