We Are Southern Ocean Success-Chamber expo brings business and residents together

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 23, 2013 - The first post Sandy consumer expo was hosted by the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce on Saturday Feb 23 at the St Mary's Parish Center in Manahawkin. Families, shoppers and business savvy residents provided a steady stream of conversation and a chance for over 50 Chamber members to discuss their services.

Among the businesses, costumed characters and mascots including Lakewood BlueClaws Buster walked the floor as  the Home Depot provided a child bird house building work shop, TGI Friday provided samples of slushies and pudding cups, the Stafford PBA was on hand for child id kits, music by Magic 100.1fm and the NJ Aquarium Touch Tank kept both children and adults busy.

"The attendance and energy at the expo today was spectacular, stated Event Committee and Chamber Board member Cathy Gunsten of NJ Home Watch, who had an opportunity to introduce her company services to hundreds of potential clients. The We are Southern Expo also kicked off the Southern Ocean County Chamber's count down to a century of service in celebration their 2014 centennial.
