PRLog - Feb. 23, 2013 - WINTER PARK, Fla. -- Steve Jurich, radio host of Journey to Wealth on Money Radio and Founder of IQ Wealth Management (A Registered Investment Advisor), was recently an expert guest on The Consumer’s Advocate television show. The show, filmed in Washington, DC, was recently featured on NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX network affiliates around the country.
“The Consumer’s Advocate” features an interview format with host Nick Nanton, interviewing experts on consumer driven topics from across the country. Steve Jurich was one of the show’s recent guests, discussing how as a retirement coach he emphasizes that a fully integrated retirement plan must include an income plan, an investment plan, a tax plan, a healthcare plan, and an estate plan. The new generation of hybrid annuities and hybrid cash value life insurance are gaining traction as baby boomers look to replace uncertainty with financial guarantees.
Jurich (pronounced Jur-itch) points out that the 78 million baby boomers eyeing retirement will likely not support a massive bull market in stocks in the decades ahead. “Rather than dumping money into the market through their 401ks, they will be focused on taking money out of the market to live their dreams,” he says. “In the 1990s, baby boomers were in their 30s, 40s, and 50s. Today, they are in their 50s and 60s, and staring at 70. In the 1990s, they lived and breathed the stock market, driving the massive demand. Today, they simply want to live their lives, sleep better at night, and know they won’t run out of money. Logically, annuities are coming back into style,” Jurich concludes.
