Feb. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Author, Cristine Caton, along with her cousin and illustrator, Judy Drmacich Ryan, is excited about the release of the third book in their Cefa the Cat series of Children’s Picture Books.  Book #3 is titled "The Adventures of Cefa the Cat, Norman Joins the Group."

In Book 1, "Cefa Finds a Home" you learned that a Russian Blue cat named Cefa (SEE-FA) is adopted from the animal shelter by Drugu and taken home.  Cefa loves his new home and he especially loves his new yard.  You learn about Cefa’s first frightening adventure in his new backyard.

In Book 2 “Cefa Meets His First Friend” he meets Bart, the lizard, in the garage.  Cefa is not sure he will like Bart but Cefa and Bart become very good friends.  They play together all of the time.

In Book 3 “Norman Joins the Group” Cefa and Bart are playing in the back yard.  They are trying to decide what Drugu is doing there.  He is digging up bushes and then bringing in some rocks.  Cefa and Bart don't know what he is going to do will all of those rocks.

Suddenly Bart sees something moving in one of the bushes.  He is curious and wants to explore but Cefa is not too sure.  What if the thing that is moving is not friendly? What if it wants to hurt Bart?  But Bart is fearless and decides to explore regardless.

Who does Bart find there?  Who is Norman?  Is he mean or will he become a friend too?

"The Adventures of Cefa the Cat, Norman Joins the Group" is a fun bedtime story.  If you can't read yet, have your Mom or Dad read it to you.  If you can read, you will enjoy learning about what Cefa does, who he meets, and how he enjoys himself.  The illustrations are animated, cute and very colorful.

This series is based on the adventures, or misadventures as some will find, of the Caton’s Russian Blue cat.  He was a very active cat with a lot of character.  He would roam around the yard and eventually found himself in various situations.  It was fun to watch as he tried to decide just how he was going to find a way out.  This adventure was especially funny as you will find out when you read what happens.  It actually did happen, but she did take a little creative license when writing about it.  Cristine used these situations as the basis of her stories and added conversations to make it more interesting for the little ones.

"The Adventures of Cefa the Cat" is internet collaboration in the true sense of the word.  Pictures were sent via email and put into a graphics program for finishing touches.  After much writing and editing, drawing and redrawing, changing and rearranging the final product was uploaded to the print-on-demand website, Create Space.

"The Adventures of Cefa the Cat, Norman Joins the Group," ISBN # 978 1482329308, is now available online at Cefa's own website at http://www.cefathecat.com.
