The Hollywood Collection of Frederick Mellinger Unveiled

Hot off the press, this incredible volume features illustrations of over 1,600 mixed media paintings and photographs from the original collection of paintings and designs by Mr. Frederick for his Frederick's of Hollywood fashion empire.  

This is how it all began!

   The catalogue raisonné encompasses the full spectrum of Mr. Frederick's revolutionary creations from intimate apparel to everyday and the runway. This collection reveals that “Frederick Mellinger did not just create lingerie or women’s fashions, he perfected the female form just as artists have attempted to do for centuries.”

Publication Details:
The Hollywood Collection of Frederick Mellinger is a 502 page hardcover volume in full color with slipcase.  The book is available in limited form of only 900 copies, including a limited edition lithograph from the collection, and a regular edition catalogue raisonné will also be available for purchase.

The Hollywood Collection of Frederick Mellinger catalogue raisonné is being released in conjunction with the current exhibit of original paintings and photographs at American Fine Art of works from The Hollywood Collection.

Exhibit Details:
The Hollywood Collection of Frederick Mellinger showcases original artworks from all facets of Mellinger’s revolutionary creations. These works have been vaulted and unseen for over twenty years and will be available for purchase for the first time. The exhibit will be held April 3 – August 3, 2013.

Please note that the original artworks in The Hollywood Collection are one-of-a-kind, and therefore selection is on a first come first serve basis as paintings will be sold throughout the exhibit.
