Announcing a new curated web marketplace for high end vintage and hand-crafted hats and fashion accessories:
These days everybody seems to be dragging grandma's hats out of the attic and posting them on eBay, creating a glut of yard sale quality items that collectors must wade through. Sellers who know nothing about what they are selling copy incorrect information from other listings, labeling an item Roaring 20s, Edwardian or Victorian when in actuality it is from decades later. Novice vintage sellers often overlook defects like moth holes, odors, loose feathers, missing trims or discoloration, or package fragile items in boxes that are too small, or even envelopes, damaging the item during shipping. Having to return purchases takes the fun out of collecting. Sharing these frustrations, a group of veteran hat collectors and sellers came together to start Hatatorium Emporium, an online vintage and hand-crafted marketplace where sellers are hand-picked for their knowledge, quality merchandise, and high standards of customer service.
