Total Window Inc.® expands company with new Project Management Staff

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 25, 2013 - Dania Beach, Florida (February 25, 2013) --- Total Window Inc.® is pleased to announce the addition of Claudia Valdez to the company, where she will serve as Project Assistant working closely with the head of the Project Management Department.  Claudia brings with her 17 years of Operations, Project Management and Interior Design experience.  Her interest in Design began in high school where she began her studies in architecture and design.  According to Claudia, “it didn’t hurt that members of my family are Architects. They were always talking about designing different kinds of buildings, so I guess that’s where I got my first interest in design and then high school really helped me realize that I liked Interior Design best”.  So for Claudia it was easy to follow her interests, starting art school at The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale and finishing her education at Southern College in Orlando.  

After an internship with several Interior Designers, Claudia began her career working in JC Penny’s drapery department.  She moved on to Ethan Allen as a Design Consultant and later worked as an Interior Designer with Scan Design.  She went on to expand her expertise as Designer and Operations Assistant for a high-end residential general contractor.  Claudia worked with clients, selecting fabrics, creating solutions for new construction design or solving a remodeling design dilemma.  She selected new furnishings, case goods, bedding, lighting and plumbing fixtures.  Claudia worked in every aspect of a remodel or new construction project; from start to finish Claudia was involved in the daily decisions.

What Claudia likes most about Interior Design is her ability to “take a client’s idea for a design and help them to find the best possible design solution, helping them accomplish what they want in the design for their home.”  Claudia says she “likes to ensure every client is happy with the final design and wants each design to gives clients a warm and comfortable feeling in their new home.”
