– The NTEA – the Association for the Work Truck Industry – is pleased to introduce a new feature called “Tech Trends
,” which will be published in the Association’
s monthly NTEA News
publication as well as on NTEA.com. Each month, timely technical issues or engineering developments, as well as frequently seen problems, will be profiled to help members in the building and selling of work trucks, truck bodies and equipment.
“Our Technical Services team fields hundreds of calls and emails from members each month, providing personalized attention on a variety of technical and regulatory questions,” said NTEA Executive Director Steve Carey. “Our hope is that Tech Trends will serve as a forum to inform and prepare our members of potential issues, and provide tips and resources before their businesses are impacted.”
Content will include information on new and used vehicles, on topics such as federal excise tax; truck certification and labeling; truck frames; body equipment and installation;
vehicle compliance; truck specifying, and more. To learn how to access Tech Trends, go to www.ntea.com/techtrends
