Celeste Williams-Hughes joins ISMPP as an Educational Content Manager. Celeste has over 15 years of experience in developing and managing scientific publications, most recently at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. She also has considerable experience as an advocate for compliance with publication guidelines, and served on cross-functional global and US publications teams. Celeste has a BA in English and holds both BELS and CMPP credentials. Celeste will be responsible for the development, review, and editing/copyediting of educational content for the ISMPP membership, interacting with ISMPP Committees, providing content support for annual meetings, educational activities, and other events, and working with other staff to facilitate the ISMPP presence through social media.
Laine Capaccio joins ISMPP as Director, Certification Program. Laine has over 8 years of experience at medical communications agencies, managing publications and scientific communications projects. She was responsible for advising on ICMJE and GPP2 guidelines, and has extensive financial and budget management experience. Laine has a BA in Communication and holds the CMPP credential. Laine will be responsible for directing all activities associated with the ISMPP Certification Program, including the certification exam, recertification program, and certification-
