Introducing the brand for The Broken Hearted

Initially the brand provides users with a website and an app (available on Apple and Android from the 13th Feb). This takes users through the break-up journey from the initial heart-break and devastation right through to being back ready to date.
 
Feb. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- This week sees the launch of a new brand aimed at the broken-hearted - Valenswines.com.

Initially the brand provides users with a website and an app (available on Apple and Android from the 13th Feb). This takes users through the break-up journey from the initial heart-break and devastation right through to being back ready to date.

All content is original and includes specifically designed tools, books, songs, films and comfort food for every day of the 90 day plan. Users can sign up to the website plan for free.

The concept has been developed by Helen Bridgett and Rachel Halter who between them have over 20 years retail marketing experience.

Bridgett says “This is a really exciting, innovative concept. We know there is nothing like it out there and this is a life-stage event which does change behavior. New hobbies, new hairstyles, new homes, new holidays – they’re all triggered when you break up”

The branding, app and site have been designed in conjunction with Blue Sky a Manchester based agency.  Stephanie Ackland says of Valenswines ‘This is one of the most enjoyable projects we have had to work on, the brand is quirky, unique and approaches a serious topic with a lot of fun’.

Significant user research has gone into developing the brand which means the site, app and recovery plan are authentic and most importantly, really work.

The recovery plan already has its fans. 24 year old Lindsey said “Valenswines really rang true with me and how I was feeling. This website is one of a kind and even makes you smile when you might not want to. Song downloads, books and recipes are a lovely touch, brightening up even the most miserable of topics!”.

“It is our mission to get people back on their feet again when they’ve been dumped“, says Halter “all of us have been through this and there’s no-one out there to help. That’s where Valenswines comes in”

Plans for brand extension include a valenswines range of products, published materials and licensed content across a range of media.
