Born and raised in Bend, Ore., Storch started out racing motocross and snowboarding, skills that naturally transitioned to mountain biking, and which heavily influenced his style. Growing up in Bend gave Storch the opportunity to mentor with riding legends like Jamie Goldman and Kirt Voreis, who helped shape his smooth riding style. Storch mainly competes in slopestyle and dirt-jump competitions but also loves riding downhill, pumptracks and cross-country.
