As such, McCarthy will help govern South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, a leading regional provider of acute, outpatient, home health, and hospice care to approximately 725,000 residents of Southeastern Massachusetts.

McCarthy, his wife, Lisa, and their children live in Norwell, Massachusetts.
