PRLog - Feb. 20, 2013 - VENTURA, Calif. -- American teenager Nick Ledesma signed a 6 month contract to play in the U-19 German Bundesliga for Alemannia Aachen this week. Alemannia Aachen is a traditional 2nd Bundesliga team, having last played in the German top flight in 2005/2006, and plays in the newly constructed 30,000 seat Tivoli stadium.
Jordan Older helped Nick Ledesma (USA) sign with a German Bundesliga club.
The U-19 Bundesliga, technically the "A-Junioren Bundesliga", is Germany's top league for the under 19 age group and includes some of the best young players in the world and the U-19 squads from these well know German Bundesliga teams such as FC Koln, Borussia Monchengladbach, Schalke, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen, Bochum, and Arminia Bielefeld.
Nick Ledesma went through a series of trials with teams throughout Germany before being offered a contract by Alemannia Aachen. Nick received an offer to play from another team in the U-19 German Bundesliga last year but the deal failed due to complications with international visas and player release forms. Nick was previously part of the Chivas USA Academy in Major League Soccer (MLS.) The trials and successful contract were arranged by local professional soccer player Jordan Older who spotted Nick playing for a local amateur soccer team in Southern California. Jordan Older, who took part in the US National Team training camp in 1994 and played professionally in Europe and in the 1st division of Brazil, has founded King Sports Management and Ventura County FC to assist young players in realizing their dreams of playing professional soccer in Europe.
