Amy Poliakoff's "Art Meets Fashion" PopUp Event becomes New York Fashion Weeks Next Big Thing!

Feb. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday, February 9th 2013 (New York, NY), NY based Art Curator and Socialite Amy Poliakoff hosted her first New York Fashion Week event entitled "Art Meets Fashion" presented by PopUp Republic and EuArt.


The exclusive event which was held at New York City's newest hot spot "Lil Charlies", located at 19 Kenmare St, New York, NY 10012, afforded guests the opportunity to view a very special Presentation by Fashion Designer Stevie Boi which was creatively displayed on fabulous Celebrity models. Leading up to the highly anticipated presentation, guests were exposed to wonderful art peices from presenters EuArt, Nora Mulheren, and Erin Lynn Welsh. The nights event went towards a great cause! The Hurricane Sandy Relief Kitchen and The Womens Cancer Research Foundation. Hundreds of guests attended and made the night truely magical.

Stevie Boi's collection, titled "Leather" was a huge hit. Celebrity models included: International pop star Neon Hitch, Choreographer/Model Jonte Moaning, International Model Zombie Boy, Makeup Artist/Model Mynxii White, and Pop Star/Fashionista Eryn Woods. Guests included Celebrity Stylist/fashionista Phillip Bloch, Celebrity Fashion Designer Michael Kuluva, and New Yorks favorite fashion bloggers and socialites!

From the amazing artwork, to the amazing fashion presentation, guests were taken on a journey through art and fashion. Make-up was provided by Edgar Anthony Arreola, Hair by Brian C. Hawkins and Shoes by Jeffery Campbell from Envi Shoes. A very special thanks to our friends at the Little Fox Cafe for making the best drinks in town and providing us with a Hair and Makeup location.
