Photography Masters Cup Honors Karen I. Hirsch From the United States

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 20, 2013 - Karen I. Hirsch of Chicago, Illinois, USA received a nomination in the Abstracts category in the 2013 Annual Photography Masters Cup Competition. She created her nominated image, "Ticker Tape Celebration," during the parade celebrating the Stanley Cup win by the Chicago Black Hawks Ice Hockey team.

The awards international Jury included captains of the industry from Phillips de Pury & Company in New York; Kunst Licht Gallery, Shanghai; XPO Gallery, Paris; Tasveer Galleries, India; BFN, Netherlands; to BBH in London.

Less than 3 percent of the the photographs entered receive honors. "It is an incredible achievement to be selected among the best from the 8,521 entries we received this year," said Basil O'Brien, the awards Creative Director.
