Cadillac Opens the V-Series Driving Academy at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch

PRLog (Press Release) - Feb. 19, 2013 - Cadillac recently held its first-ever V-Series Driving Academy at the Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch near Las Vegas, Nevada, with more sessions scheduled to be held there and at other race tracks throughout the country over the course of this year. The team at Motor Werks Cadillac of Barrington (http://www.motorwerkscadillac.com/dealership/about.htm) is well acquainted with the thrilling performance capabilities of the Cadillac V-Series, and the launch of the V-Series Driving Academy has generated a tremendous amount of excitement.

Participating drivers will have the chance to learn and master advanced driving techniques, and will be provided the opportunity to test these skills on some of the most demanding racetracks in the country. Students will receive one-on-one instruction by professional racing instructors, as well as additional instruction from either Andy Pilgrim or Johnny O’Connell, two of the top drivers from Team Cadillac’s World Challenge.

With a curriculum designed by celebrated racecar driver Ron Fellows, each class will be limited to 12 participants, and will feature a one-day session for $1,295, and a more advanced two-day session for $2,295. Students can expect to be schooled in vehicle control techniques and high-performance driving with plenty of time spent on the track behind the wheel of one of Cadillac’s exceptionally powerful, sport-tuned V-series vehicles.

While the inaugural sessions have already taken place, the rest of the schedule thus far looks like this:

September 30 at the Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, Illinois
October 21 at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida
Two more sessions at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, set for November 30 and December 1
