Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods Takes a Look Back Before Making a Bold Move Forward

Comprised of six neighborhoods at its inception, Acadia skyrocketed to 18 neighborhoods in 2012. After celebrating 51 closings on new homes in 2011, Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods was delighted to triple that number with 153 closings in 2012. Projected closings in 2013 are already estimated at more than 250. Acadia Homes & Neighborhoods was recognized with a number of OBIE Awards including a Gold for Best Landscape Design and Silver for Best Building Design for its Wellstone Community, a Silver for Best Urban Redevelopment of its Sutherland Corner Community, a Silver for Best Interior Merchandising of its model home in Reece Farms, and a Silver for Best Video Promotion. This recognition from the homebuilding community continued recently when Goldenberg was featured in a January 2013 article titled “Developer certain of turnaround” for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
