Silko Honda in Raynham, MA is supporting the American Cancer Society and the fight against cancer by raising money through the annual Daffodil Days program. The program is a three-month campaign between January and March of each year, during which coordinators promote cancer awareness and collect funds for the American Cancer Society at various religious, civic, social, and professional organizations. The 2013 Massachusetts Daffodil Days program started in January and individuals have until March 1st to donate money to the program through the team at Silko Honda, located at 1580 New State Highway in Raynham, MA. http://www.silkohonda.com/honda-dealer-raynham
At the end of Daffodil Days, daffodil flowers will be delivered to Silko Honda on March 18th in appreciation of the donors to the American Cancer Society. Participants of the fundraiser have the choice of donating a Gift of Hope in any amount. Each Gift of Hope makes it possible for the American Cancer Society to anonymously deliver flowers to cancer patients at medical centers and facilities in the Raynham area.
While the event’s promotion highlights the organization’
s appreciation of donors, the primary focus of the program is the raising of funds that are needed by the American Cancer Society as it continues its work of coming up with the best treatments and the eventual cure for cancer. Each Gift of Hope donation goes to saving the lives of children and adults with cancer. These donations fund vital scientific and medical research as well as a number of essential programs including educational programming, advocacy, and services for cancer patients and their families. This essential work depends upon the generosity of individuals through programs like Daffodil Days, and without donations these critical services would not be possible.
There is only a limited time left to make a donation to the 2013 Massachusetts Daffodil Days program. Contributions can be made online to fight against cancer with Silko Honda, and questions can be directed to their staff by phone at 508.880.5500.http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR?team_id=1318962&fr_...
