GNC Celebrates Grand Opening of new store at Longwood Village Shoppes in Kennett Square

Feb. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- Kennett Square, February 15  -- General Nutrition Centers (GNC), the leading global specialty retailer of nutritional products, is holding its Grand Opening event of its newest store at the Longwood Village Shoppes on Route 1 in Kennett Square, PA on March 1 & 2, 2013.  

The event includes an official Ribbon Cutting with the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce on Friday March 1 at 4:00 PM followed by a wine & cheese networking event for all SCCCC members and local businesses with door prizes and special sales.  Dr. Chad Laurence, Corrective Chiropractic of Hockessin, will be offering free spinal evaluations and nutrition consultations.

Saturday March 2 will included a store-wide Grand Opening Sale, hourly giveaways, free blood pressure screenings  from 12 – 3:00 PM with Chester County Family Medicine and Geriatrics,  BMI and Body Fat measurements and free Fitness Consultations with Snap Fitness from 3:00-5:00, and sampling of various nutritional supplements with Team Nutrology from 10:00-4:00.

Also on Saturday, March 2, Girl Scouts will be selling cookies in front of our store from 10 AM to 6 PM.  This is the LAST DAY of cookie sales in our area.

GNC's newest location at Longwood Village is franchised by long-time local businessmen Robert Waters and Robert Rosen.

The new store offers a one-stop shopping experience for consumers seeking not only innovative, high-quality fitness and nutritional supplements, but also natural, alternative treatments for holistic wellness. It features a comprehensive portfolio of vitamins and minerals as well as sports nutrition products under GNC's proprietary brands and other best brands in the category.  The store is located on Route 1 in the Longwood Village Shoppes.
