The DSV Group of Companies are therefore delighted to announce that their Harwich, Manchester and Aberdeen facilities have been recommended for registration to the BS OHSAS 18001 standard for health & safety.
This standard requires the companies to make a commitment to ensure legal compliance. This ensures that DSV has a safe and secure environment to work within and continuity of operations for customers through safe working practices.

The BS OHSAS 18001 Accreditation allows businesses to identify and control H&S risks and reduce the potential for accidents and improve overall health and safety performance.
As well as achieving BS OHSAS 18001 Accreditation, the Harwich site also has the ISO9001 Quality Standard and ISO14001 Environmental Standard.
Manchester has the ISO9001 standard and Aberdeen is working towards both the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Accreditations. All three standards identify a framework for managing processes and systems in these three key areas. The standards have been in place since 1994 (ISO9001) and 2009 (ISO 14001).
